Despite High Vaccination Rate Amtrak Suspends Vaccine Mandate, The Background Tells A Story

Reuters is reporting on an interesting dynamic within the vaccine mandate as it pertains to Amtrak. Reading between the lines tells us something very specific about this vaccine mandate that we have discussed here, and it’s starting to show.

The article itself points to how Amtrak is suspending their vaccine mandate as a result of the federal courts blocking enforcement of any mandate pending litigation.  From their perspective as a federal contractor, Amtrak is now in a position to cease the vaccine requirement until the legal issues are resolved.  However, there’s an element touched upon that needs to be considered.

    1. 6th, yeah. Sooner or later, it will go to Comrade Roberts and I'm *sure* he'll come down on the side of individual liberty, assuming he doesn't deny cert.

  4. MY place of employment is still 30%+ unvaxxed. There's a company incentive of $1000 to get the jab before Dec 31 and still 30%+ of the people are saying no. We currently run the operations with at least 20% of the slots filled with overtime (meaning we are running 20% understaffed and/or vacation plus sick leave). To lose any more people, even another 5%, and we don't keep running. There's a sense of quiet desperation in management about the upcoming mandate and whether the legal challenges will prevail. Still they continue the propaganda over and over to convince us to voluntarily get jabbed. Fun times. I'm ready to walk away if necessary, and so are many others.
