Pistola con caricato

  1. I guess it keeps the pressure down in the chambers but what is Italian for "Time Out, I'm reloading. Who brought the wine?" They had to do what they had to do until the metalurgy improved. But, you could miss three times with one "shot" Time for the Scatter gun.

  3. I want one of them for my next duel. "And me with my trusty, rusty horse pistol. Which I'd raised from a colt. Upon a given signal, drew and shot him dead."

  7. That is an interesting revolver but I think something has gotten lost in translation. Pistola con caricato literally means "pistol with loaded". That stated, if it is actually called "La Pistola con Caricatore" this makes more sense as it used an early moon clip as a loader. La Pistola con Caricatore translates to The pistol with magazine, this seems more suitable and probable.

  8. If you think that’s fun, check out the WH Philip patent revolver. Three inline cylinders. I suppose you could engrave them like an odometer so it counts down to your last shot.

  10. This is what happens when your country doesn't have any decent large caliber pistol ammo.

  11. I dunno, those barrels look awful thin. It seems like a catastrophic failure is built in.

  12. And it really just a six-shooter...

  13. "I know what you're thinking. Did he fire eighteen shots, or only seventeen?"
