I was married to a Comanche Indian (and a militant one at that) for 16 years and the subject of the article above provided me with tons of entertainment.

She'd start in about how the white man 'stole' their land and I'd come back with something like, "Yes we did, just like your people stole it from whoever was there first so fuck you" and the shit would be on.

I remember one time she took off for a conference in Salt Lake City and when she returned, she found a Better Dead Than Red poster hanging above our bed. Granted, that's an anti communist slogan, but for some odd reason she thought I was capping on Indians.
