New York judge overturns state's mask mandate

NEW YORK - A New York judge on Monday ruled that the state's current mask mandate is unconstitutional and cannot be enforced.

Gov. Kathy Hochul reinstituted the mandate — through the state Department of Health — in December because of a surge in coronavirus cases.

  1. A STATE SUPREME COURT JUDGE told her fuckoff... Response: we're going to reverse that decision.

This is how these people think!
"No, YOU'RE WRONG! Constitution be damned! I AM ABOVE THE LAW!"

    1. No, the judge overturned the governor's "reinstatement" of the mandate from December. The phrasing and order makes it seem like the judge said it was unconstitutional, and the governor ignored the ruling, but if you reread it, the governor reinstated the mandate I'm December. The judge ruled it unconstitutional yesterday.

  2. And the new Mayor of NYC has already stated that they'll be keeping the mandate. Seems to me that Mayors don't have that authority...but that's none of my business, since my bags are packed and we're on our way to the free state of FL.
