ReplyDeleteI stopped at the battlefield site twenty years ago.
I watched that earlier this week and have walked that battlefield. You're almost guaranteed to be there by yourself. You can stand on it, just as you can on the Little Big Horn Battlefield, and watch traffic on the interstate go whizzing by. It's a jarring juxtaposition. The location of the Wagon Box Fight is not far away and worth the visit.
