Camera captures mysterious teen returning lost wallet

LAS VEGAS - It’s proof that good Samaritans come in all ages. A Las Vegas mom was surprised to find a teenager dropped off her wallet after she lost it while out at the movies with her baby.

Nancy Nelson had searched everywhere for her wallet, all while little miss Adelaide watched.

  2. I return them when I find them and have taught my kids to do the same.
I Will Not entrust that to law enforcement anymore. I learned that the hard way.
I dropped my wallet one morning at Kroger. Discovered it missing a few hours later. Called the store but they didn't have a clue. The local popo returned it a few days later. Said it was found in a dumpster.
Very distinct wallet btw. I had over a thousand cash in it because some tenants had paid me rent.
In the store a few weeks later and the checker comments that I got it back.
Me, " yes but whoever took it stole my money."
Her," no, there was a little over a thousand cash in it when I handed it to the police."
When I return them I ALWAYS tell them to cancel their credit card because I don't know who else touched it.

  4. I've returned lost wallets to people in the past. I don't know why you would want to involve the police though. They would probably accuse you of stealing it and stitch you up.

  5. Used to return debit cards to the tailor shop on MCBH / the annex, not sure if it's a good idea in hindsight and I didn't think to wait there for the person to return or calling the bank to have them cancel it (young and stupid). Bacon saving is a lifestyle and someone else returned my ID(chow hall floor, as well as debit card(That same ATM), wallet (barbershop in Japan, double backed to the door when I forgot.)

I don't recall ever finding wallets though, did catch a small bag by an ATM someone just forgot, must have been something really special in it because the guy lost his mind.

Good things come to those that return cards and wallets.

  6. I was driving out of the mall when I saw a purse in the road with contents scattered. I got it, saw the address was on my way home so I went there. The woman had just pulled up and was getting out of the car. Didnt know the purse had fallen off of the roof of her car.

Checked out a library book and found a library card inside for Albert Lanius. Took it to his house and couldnt resist asking if there was a Miss A. Lanius.

Age 14, I found a purse in the intersection at 4 A.M. while I was on my paper route. Belonged to a classmate. Had $3 inside. I returned it and she was amazed that her money was still there.....like I'm going to steal $3
