Some really great news, our Author has found all of the original pieces he wrote on an old Laptop he had forgotten about.
This will make things much easier.
This is important stuff here, the soil you have to use is the very basic foundation of any growing activities.
Crap soil will not grow the food you are going to need.
It can literally take years to supplement bad soil to get it up to optimal condition.
My thanks again to Food Grower for taking the time to share this very important information.
I had eight yards of beautiful garden dirt and five yard of cypress mulch delivered. Built three 12'x10'x10" raised beds. Made two 5'x2'x10" beds and bowed a 16'x5' cow panel between them for a trellis. Anchored it with T posts. Then half filled them all with my compost and then the dirt on top. Got it all on auto water with soaker hoses. So far we have three types of tomato, melons, peppers, beets, carrot, radish, watermelon, brussel sprouts and spinach in the big beds. Will be planting some 60 day corn this evening. In the trellis bed we have our pole beans planted. All that and we still have room for more. Gonna grow sweet potato in a bed I have yet to build off by itself. We are new to Fl but not new to gardening. We are experimenting and realize we planet some stuff too late. Like the spinach. We might get one feed before it bolts.
