First horse I ever rode was a Work Horse. I was probably three and my father set me up on one. Jesus Mary and Joseph I remember it like yesterday. I thought I was on top of the world and man I wanted down! I never made a peep and sat there. I remember my leg would not even fit over the sides. I was just sitting on the flat of the horses back. We bought a Shetland Pony that day off the guy that owned the work horse. We put it in the back of a 1952 Chevy Deluxe and drove back to the farm. My father had a bad habit of staying drunk and doing stupid shit. He went on about a four day drunk once and when he got home he had two goats in the back of a 1957 Dodge Coronet. Them goats had eaten all the upholstery and shit everywhere. He was a weird sum bitch.

Reminds me of a girl I dated once....
ReplyDeleteThat horse has known the kid since a toddler and has a lovely disposition.
ReplyDeleteI can only imagine what that kid will be able to do with a horse when he's 19 years old.
