2 of 4 men acquitted in plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer

Two of four men were acquitted Friday in a conspiracy to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in 2020, motivated by fury at the Democrat’s tough COVID-19 restrictions early in the pandemic.

The jury’s verdicts against Daniel Harris and Brandon Caserta were read in the federal court in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in the case presided over by U.S. District Judge Robert Jonker. Jurors said they couldn’t agree on verdicts again Adam Fox and Barry Croft Jr. Prosecutors described Fox as a ringleader of an anti-government group.

  2. Well, of COURSE a guy with the last name of a sort of centrist media machine is going to be running an antigovernmental group. Adam Fox must watch Fox news and everyone knows that Fox news wants Trump to be dictator for life.

  3. You don't suppose that the fact that the FBI refused to testify and the jury couldn't arrive at a verdict, so the judge threw the charges out with prejudice as a result.

I hope all the defendants sue and win millions.

  4. Judge and Jury unimpressed with the shit case presented by FBI/DOJ. FBI stooge created the plot, others entrapped. One FBI stooge for each indictee.

  5. Soooo..... when does the FBI get charged with fraud and lying to attempt to convict the knuckledraggers they tried to railroad into this farce?
Oh, right its only illegal when citizens lie to the government, not the other way 'round.

  6. The FBI has been doing this for decades if not longer. They setup the "Christmas Tree Bomber" out here in Portland years ago...a mouthy young Muslim who would not have done anything without their grooming.
