Not Even ATF Can Verify ATF’s ‘Ghost Gun’ Claims

U.S.A. –-(AmmoLand.com)- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has a unique reputation among federal law enforcement agencies. Quite frankly, the ATF is well known for not always telling the truth. Whether its firearm statistics, after-action reports downplaying the body count of their latest sting to backfire or quotes from senior executives, any information coming from ATF is always suspect and must always be verified.

    NYPD says 131 ghost guns were seized this year , a 351% increase from last year. So last year the ghost guns seized numbered in the negative hundreds?

      131 is roughly 351% larger than 32. So the previous year's haul was around 32 guns.

      Of course that requires you to actually believe anything that the NYPD says about guns.

    So how will the lib judge react when I claim in open court re ghost guns that the ATF lies every time all the time, therefore none of their statements are permissable in my case? HUH???

    Serial #s do absolutely zilch to increase danger to public. Its like a number on a public or private sign. No higher cartridge capacity, doesn't increase accuracy or make it invisible to metal detectors. A criminal using one would still be subject to fingerprints found on it, just like a firearm with serial number.

    This is simply attempting to stop the manufacture of private firearms = period.
