University in Indiana Displays Free Speech Warning Sign on Campus

A free speech warning sign has been photographed on display, reportedly on Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis campus.

The sign warns students reading “ATTENTION FREE SPEECH BEING EXERCISED AHEAD[.] Topics could be upsetting to some.”

That reminds me of Modesto Junior College having a designated "Free Speech" area, a tiny space located in an out of the way place in response to a student wandering around campus handing out free pocket sized Constitutions on (get this) Constitution Day. The thing is, the only people restricted to that area were the Conservatives and they had to apply to the school to use it.  The Lefties were free to roam around campus spewing their communist bullshit.
The student ended up taking them to court over it and won.

  1. I remember that 'Free Speech Area' at Modesto JC. A small area of the central quad where you were to be 'allowed' to say what you think.

Remember Mario Savio and the free speech movement at Berkeley?
My, how times have changed. And not for the better.

    1. Mario Savio was an instructor at MJC. Kinda funny how he champions Free Speech of liberals but not for conservatives.
