Average US gas price has jumped 33 cents in past 2 weeks

CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) - The average U.S. price of regular-grade gasoline spiked 33 cents over the past two weeks to $4.71 per gallon.

Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg of the Lundberg Survey said Sunday that the price jump comes amid higher crude oil costs and tight gasoline supplies.

  2. You know why they want to get rid of gasoline?
Because you can't make Molotov cocktails with a battery, even a lithium battery.

  6. First Biden asked the Saudis to pump more oil, they said "no" and stopped taking their calls, now he's gone to US oil producers "hat in hand" as they say....

    1. That's per liter, not per gallon

    2. The basic oil price is the same, the extra cost in Canada goes to pay for medical care.

  8. $4.999 for Premium here in my area of Texas.
Tide dry detergent is up to $20 now and cheese is like $17.
Tide used to be like $14, then $16. Cheese used to be $11
Half gallon of bluebell is $7.44 now.

It's obscene and I may start foraging the wild thistles, purslane, and dandelions in my yard, along with beauty bush berries, etc.

Cheapest gas in town here in SoCal is $5.49, just up from $5.38 yesterday. Word on the street is independent gas stations are being told to upgrade their pumps an extra digit to be ready for $10+ gas. If that happens it'll be CW 2.0 time.
