Commentary: The Abortion Wars Are Just Getting Started
The Supreme Court’s apparent decision to send the abortion issue back to the states may be a triumph for federalism and the concept of the separation of powers, but it is also a recipe for unyielding division. Abortion politics will become even more of a litmus test for tens of millions of pro-choice and pro-life voters at the local, state, and federal levels because their legislators will have far more power to shape policy. This, in turn, will further polarize our politics and empower the extremes because many voters will likely back candidates no matter their position on schools, crime, housing, jobs and debt, so long as they are the right kind of “pro.”

Further polarization is part of the plan.
ReplyDeleteIf it wasn't abortion, it would have been something else. Leftists are the party of death, and are impossible to live with. I believe it will come to violence. With leftists there is no other way....
ReplyDeleteFor me nothing will change. If a politician isn't pro- gun and anti-abortion I won't support him. Period.
ReplyDeleteAbortion as basis for single issue voting is nothing new.
ReplyDeleteShit stories like this one is just to get people riled up and keep them riled up.
The divisiveness has always been there. There can be no acceptance whatsoever with murder.
Abortion has always been my "litmus" test with any politician. There is no Constitutional right to murder babies.
ReplyDeleteI remember how those who were single issue voters were mocked and called simpletons.
ReplyDeleteNow watch when the screaming socialists demand of each candidate for election their position in Roe V Wade. Sacrificing children to moloch has always been their single issue.
We are already unyieldingly divided
ReplyDeleteCull the heard. Wait until they riot and then open fire.
ReplyDeleteFINALLY the Catholic Church, or at least one bishop, has taken a stand against the self proclaimed "good Catholic", Nazi Pelosi, in denying her Communion. Joe Biden should be next on that list, followed by every Catholic DC politician that is pro abortion.
ReplyDeleteNemo
I will not vote for anyone who supports paid premeditated murder of a child with a appointment.
ReplyDeleteSteve in KY
most of the leftie dumb asses got multiple clot shots and will probably be unable to bear children weather they want to or not so their abortion protests are really a moot point . Those fetuses will fail without the need of any intervention.
