"Sorry 'bout that"

ST. PETE BEACH, Fla. – A sheriff deputy ran over a beachgoer who was lying on the sand in a Florida beach as he was trying to drive away to check on a 911 hangup call.

  1. It seems like this happens two or three times a year. Maybe it is time to put the cops in smaller UTVs with a better field of vision.

  2. After extensive investigation we fin it was the ladies fault for not getting out of the way and will be charged with wasting the popos time and resisting arrest.

  4. Sounds like a simple case of "accidents happen". Pay for the medical bills + lost wages, maybe $1,000 for pain and suffering and call it settled.
