NEW YORK - In news surprising no one who knows the rat-infested history of the Lower East Side's Tompkins Square Park, a rat invaded the dog run there and sent the pooches — and their people — into a frenzy, as seen in a video that has gone viral.

Check out the video: all the dogs are having a great time doing what dogs do naturally while the owners are all going into a minor panic trying to keep their dogs away.
A little "R&R" or Rodent meets Rover
ReplyDeleteMy old wiener dog from my childhood would know what to do, and so would I. All I'd have to do is say "Rat!" and she would be on it like stink on shit. She had a world view of if it's smaller than her, and it moves, it must die. It's a good thing I didn't grow up in the south where large or poisonous snakes lived. She would have been in trouble.
ReplyDeleteRat population exploding in NYC. Now where's the report on the four legged variety?

Our dogs and cat would work as a team. She could reach in where the dogs couldn't go. She'd grab the rat, fling it back behind her, and the two Cairn terriers would pounce. It was always quick.
