Put the blame where it belongs, on Joe Biden's shoulders
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- One of the nation's largest aluminum manufacturers delivered a crushing blow this week in Hawesville, Kentucky.

The company said the plant is closing because of the rise in energy costs, linked to the war in Ukraine. The company's CEO said energy costs to run the plant have nearly tripled.
Remember the time Brandon said he was going to shut down coal mining and retrain all the miners to write computer code? Good times huh. Time to send Brandon to the train station.
I think some CEOs are socialist and are playing the biden admin game of cancelling production that uses a lot of energy. If you make it in another country the world is greener.
most of the stuff we make where I work is made from aluminum. got a Ruger rifle with an aluminum handguard? we probably made it.
shits gonna get ugly quick. they'll raise prices for some customers...others will demand the price they negotiated years ago and we'll default on the contract rather than make stuff at a loss.
and it doesn't matter if we got our aluminum from this place or not..prices will go up no matter who it came from. supply and demand.
Correct me if I'm wrong. My old man worked on a new coal fired power plant in Owensboro in the 80's. I think it was something like 300+ megawatts. He told me before his passing they shut it down.
When I lived in Canon City, CO 2 nearby coal fired power plants, one had just under went a $100 million retrofit that reduced CO2 emissions to practically zero, were shut down. In the past 10 years, 13 have been closed and another 10 will close by the min 2030s. That'll leave 4 plants with a dependable & reliable source of energy.
I'll be gone by then but I'm watching right now what is going to happen. It has absolutely nothing to do with AGW because there's no such thing.
Excel Energy has a guaranteed 8%+ ROI so they couldn't care less about how much it costs to provide it.
And Awaaaaaayyyyyy we go!
ReplyDeleteI better go get more aluminum foil.
ReplyDeleteYou can make huge profits selling tin foil hats to Xiden supporters.
DeleteLet's Go Brandon!
ReplyDeleteAll part of the plan. When the commie left gets through with America there won be anything left.

ReplyDeleteThe cost of energy has nothing to do with Russia and Ukraine and everything to do with Joe the Bozo.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
Delete"...rising energy costs linked to the war in Ukraine" is 100% bullshit
