Good Morning

  1. I've got dozens, if not hundreds of pictures just like this from when my daughter used to show cows for the FFA group in her high school. The bonds between the calves and the kids was quite remarkable. While I'm not much of a touchy/feely/emotional kind of person, seeing things like this always did my heart good. It's a shame so many (city slickers) more students in this country don't get this experience.

  3. That kid is probably not concerned with how many Facebook Friends he has. Good going, kid. And mom and dad.

  4. Come this winter lots of people are going to wish they had a biofuel-powered, self-propelled heater to snuggle up with.

  5. Reminds me of why my uncle is so violently allergic to beef. My grandpa was a control freak, and couldn't stand the boss cow not minding him, like he minded my uncle. So the cow got butchered, and my uncle was forced to eat his friend.

At least have the decency to trade cows (or at least CLAIM you traded) with your neighbor!
