WASHINGTON (AP) - The Biden administration is moving one step closer to developing a central bank digital currency, known as the digital dollar, saying it would help reinforce the U.S. role as a leader in the world financial system.

    Yeah, right...

  2. and as soon as that happens, we are all going to be fucked. say something they don't like,
turn off your money. want to buy something they don't like- it will not work.
once that is in place, we are fucked and they will have damn near total control over you
ain't no fucking way am I going to go along with that shit. fuck them.
and another thing. what is the dollar going to be worth when they just keep printing them like mad ? back in the 1970's you could buy a new car under 5 grand, a very good one for 10 . now ? a fair car is what ? over 30 grand at least. a very good car will set you back close to 100 grand. Russia is selling it's oil for gold. like most countries today, they are not
trading in dollars anymore. it is only a matter of time now before it is worthless everywhere

    1. I found this interesting:

The lowest price for a Ford Model T was in 1925 - $260.
At the prevailing price for gold ($20.67), that converts to between 12 and 13 ounces of gold.

Fast forward to today, and the cheapest Ford is the Maverick at $20,995.
At today's gold price of ($1,670), that converts to between 12 and 13 ounces.

  3. This should work just great along side the automatic cut off switch to be installed in all cars by 2030.

  4. This from the people that fucked up the gas cans.
This from the people that created a virus and then created a " vaccine" that doesn't work and then forced everybody to take it...just so they could get rich.

    What could possibly go wrong?

  5. This is strictly about CONTROL, nothing more, nothing less!
It is also a very bad IDEA!

  6. This digital currency will happen, like all the others plans they have. Why? Because We The People are not up in arms about it. Until each one of THEM is Personally held accountable, (With Extreme Prejudice), nothing will stop them.

  8. First, they go after your bank account, with newly minted IRS agents, with the ability to look into your financial flow, to insure that you don't have more money flowing through the account than you declare on your taxes. So that side job of a landscape business, or a shadetree mechanic, suddenly won't allow you to put the earnings through your bank, or you will see the long arm of the law attach your bank account.
Then, to make that war on drugs have some teeth, all cash money will be done away with, so you won't have money to buy drugs, but only a credit card. It is unlikely that drug dealers will set up to take Visa or Mastercard debit cards. So you will see a new underground currency, made out of some unknown as yet item, be it junk silver, cartel minted coins, or who knows what.
It is not hard to predict the outcome of any of this. I look to history, and read the lead up to the civil war, and how the north pushed the south, and there is no doubt that the Democrats are actively pushing the conservatives and the Republican party towards a second civil war, in order for them to accomplish their goal of total control of the United States by the Democratic Socialist Soviet Republic. The coup will not be bloodless, but will make those of the 20th century look like a warm up session for the opening day of Baseball season. The only thing that remains to be learned is that there will be no winner at the end of the game.

  9. Been thinking about this a lot. What will the workaround be? Bitcoin is traceable. The IRS is watching Square and Paypal. Gold and silver? It will be interesting to watch. Better have barter items.

  10. This is all about control of the public. Same as in China. Be a good little boy or girl and we'll let you have some freedoms. Screw up and you can't visit Grandma in the next town, anymore. And if they think you have weapons, all the sudden your card won't work for buying ammo. Same with a virtually-unlimited plethora of products/services. We cannot let this happen or we're fucked.

  11. I don't use banks beyond what I need to pay my bills and renew my licensing, etc. If it gets to the point where this is the way of the land with cash banned then people will setup bartering channels on the pseudo-anon platform of their choice; or trade locally.

As long as you have a high-trust community, there is nothing wrong with the barter system used in medieval days. People would offer their wares and service based on reputation; agreeing to their value in the currency of the day. Part of why keeping your receipt was so important since it's a claim to future goods and services.

Should CBDC become the default currency in the USA; I'll make a barter list of items I use or am in search of and trade my goods for cooking oil, canned food, fresh food, services, etc.

    1. Why aren't you stocking up on cooking oil and canned goods now? When the time comes, the folks that have those items may not want to cut them loose.
I know foodstuffs and ammo are going to be the very last things that I will swap anything for, no matter what you offer.

  12. It is time to unfund the federal government...if you work, stop having them withhold your taxes. Instead, invest it in canned food, anything you need to survive......

  13. The goal is the complete end of cash....for a number of reasons. All of which are going to be bad for us. It won't work out the way they think it will but it will still be very very ugly for most of us.

  14. I think this is likely one of the most dangerous things facing us now. While shiny distractions like the Ukes and Ruskies, Trans crap, "just wait til the midterms" etc are bandied about, this looms as a totalitarian death knell for our country. They will somehow attempt to make bartering and possessing gold illegal.
