The results of the Firearms Safety Consultation have been released and will result in further restrictions and additional firearms laws around high muzzle energy rifles, air guns, miniature rifle ranges and ammunition. We go through what will change and how this is likely to affect gun owners within the UK.

Not buying this fear mongering. Sorry. I got into guns late in life. The year Nobama was elected. For obvious reasons. And since that time with a few BS exceptions (think bumpstock) there have been less and less restrictions on guns. Not more. So don’t fall for these idiots trying to get you riled up for no good reason. There’s no good evidence to show anything is going to change in the future. These people are just as bad as the global warming crowd.
ReplyDeleteOh, for fuck's sake, tell us you didn't read the title or click the link without telling us you did neither. It's British laws from a thoroughly British perspective. But Democrats view Britain as a model to follow, and they'll straight up tell you that.
DeleteThe kraineholes “voted”…….
ReplyDeleteIs what t is.
This is happening in the UK, and they are Subjects, not Citizens with no 2nd Amendment protections. The rights of Englishmen can be altered by Parliament without many limits.
ReplyDelete“We only have ourselves to blame”?
ReplyDeleteReally? In fact (just like someone, who was it again, Oh that’s right … you) there have been multiple false-flag events here used to justify the restrictions ‘forced’ on us. (In each of the three main cases used to ban weapons here, the perpetrators were well known, had extensive records of both criminal ‘and’ mental health issues, and best of all had had their weapons removed by local police and then … given back to them by TPTB so as to be able to commit the crimes, they had repeatedly told everybody they were going to commit. Sound familiar?).
And (as illustrated in the video) the ‘only’ people committing firearms offences here are … the ethnics (again, sound familiar?).
But, you’re right, just like whilst it is a ‘crime’ for me to carry a penknife larger than 3”, the ethnics get to wander around unmolested with their “cultural” swords (hacking each other, and anyone unlucky or stupid enough to go anywhere near them, to pieces in a ‘diverse’ manner). This is yet again the collective (those leftists do love some collectivism don’t they) punishment of … everyone who ‘didn't’ commit a crime, whilst excusing those who did.
But … if ‘we’ are to blame for this manipulation, that must mean you ‘personally’ must accept the blame for incontinent, perverted Biden et al. America is now a laughingstock, communist/fascist regime in all but name, banana republic and … You only have yourselves to blame. That’s fair right?
As for "fighting back"? Britain (Australia, Canada, NZ and most of the rest of the world) have had daily 100,000+ protests and riots and constant law-fare against the restriction imposed over the last couple of years. America? Barely a whimper of complaint. You're cowed by Jan 6th and fall back into your usual response of moans, memes, and the rote "We've got guns" mantra. But ... you've 'done' nothing, so don't go around judging, lest you be judged.
As bad in some ways as it is here in Britain, at least we're not you. You just go on clutching your 'security blanket' guns, whilst hiding in your basements, and do some more moans, memes and mantras and delude yourself into thinking you're 'superior'.
And in your own words, we're not you. You're a fucking subject, not a citizen, who can't even carry a knife without a Mother-May-I slip. Quit acting so goddamned superior.
DeleteYes, but I am a citizen and not a serf. I will try to keep this brief, but there is a huge back story here that, I have been told, is interesting, funny, and sad, all at the same time. But, here goes.
DeleteI spent three months "on the economy" in Newcastle on a technology exchange with a company we were partnered with. I was sent to learn the technologies they were using and to bring the knowledge back to the US team.
The execs were the "lords" and the workers were the "serfs". Unfortunately for them, I was the "revolutionary colonial". I have stories. But, the workers did what they were told to do, no matter how ridiculous or asinine. I did not. I had a task and I did what I thought was appropriate to get the job done. I pissed off the CTO and the chief scientist thru my actions.
The chief scientist got me assigned to his pet project, which was supposed to be completed in six months using a tool his best friend on another company had developed. Needless to say, there was a lot of money in licensing fees involved. It took me a couple of months to demonstrate that the tool was not up to the task and my estimate was five to six man years spread over a couple of calendar years to effect the effort.
I was almost immediately deemed to be "disruptive" to the team and asked to leave. It left me in a position that I would have been fired if I had not done something to cover my ass. I managed to borrow a desk, a phone, and workstation for 6 weeks until I got another position in the company. But the situation was so distasteful that it led to my eventual separation from Shell and then, ultimately, to me moving to my current home. A huge net improvement, so it was a good overall experience. After all, it led me to actually meet the illustrious Wire Cutter himself, in flesh and blood. What a small world .
So, take your holier than thou attitude and shove it where the sun don't shine. Sorry to be rude, but I don't listen to sheep and your bullshit does not carry here. Go bleat some place where slaves are amenable to your inane rants.
Damn, waitingForTheStorm - tell him how you really feel.
DeleteBumpstocks are "toys" and a foot in the door. The current approach has been intrusions by regulatory mutation and the promulgation of Executive Orders. By time your name, or medical condition comes up, it will be too late. First they get you used to the encroachment on "toys". Then they move on to "semi automatics" or "center fire ammo" that are "just like" military killing machines. The restrictions on "toys" are just the warm up. After all, then a magazine-fed semi-auto is just another "toy".
ReplyDelete"They" seem to believe in the fantasy that the violent will become peaceful when there is no law or law enforcement to aggravate them. If you shoot ot kill them in self defense, you deprive them of the opportunity to be peaceful Leftists. Ask the missing teacher in Memphis how that works in the real world. But it is their fantasy. And all they have to do is to keep noodling the regulations until you and yours are dead. Then, Nirvana.
I don't care about bumpstocks, I care about the method used against them since eventually I will be the target. It is always one more tiny step until the boot is on my throat.
