Nashville and Franklin Gun Stores Ban Wearing of Masks and Hooded Sweatshirts

On Saturday, the Nashville and Franklin Armories announced on social media that the company has banned the wearing of masks and hooded sweatshirts by customers seeking to purchase firearms or use the firing ranges at their locations.

“Effective immediately: The wearing of masks and hoodies are strictly prohibited and you will not be permitted in the store. If you are fearful for health reasons, we will have an online store available Mid September. If you have any concerns, please email jason@nashvillearmory.com,” the company said in a statement.

We had a new gun store open up here on the outskirts of town about a year ago and from Day One they've always had a sign posted right on the door saying "Keep your gun holstered and do NOT wear a mask in this business."
Hoodies aren't an issue around here because we're more redneck than gangsta, camo clothing being the preference for the well dressed man about town.

  3. I work in a big box store. All of the lowlifes that come in to steal wear masks.

  4. The mask thing was local option from the beginning in Georgia. My small county never saw masks in gun stores, tire stores or other guy type stores. Only the corporate places required masks. Next door, Athens, Ga, Democrat home of UGA required masks in government offices with businesses optional. Athens recently re-imposed masks with businesses optional. We were out and around today and didn't see any required masks in stores or fast food. They are an extreme minimum with a few Blacks and some young probably Democrats wearing.
