"Nothing To Do With Man" - Astrophysicist Says Climate-Cultists "Are On A Gravy Train" To Make Money

This year's heat waves and subsequent droughts resulted in the hottest summer in recorded European history, according to a report by the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) - an EU-funded Earth observation agency.

“We’ve not only had record August temperatures for Europe, but also for the summer, with the previous summer record only being one year old,” said Freja Vamborg, a senior scientist at the Copernicus Climate Change Service.

Of course, this 'record' heat in the summer has prompted activists to trot out the same old tropes that this 'confirms climate change' is having a catastrophic effect on the world already. With the energy crisis facing Europe, this is not a particularly comfortable topic as numerous nations abandon - albeit apparently temporarily - their green policies in favor of not letting their citizenry starve or freeze.

Given that it's all 'settled science', the following RT News anchor was probably expecting a rote response to his questions about climate change.

  1. This has always been my contention and anyone with half a brain should realize that the major ice ages that occurred all over Europe and North America all melted without any help from man or industry.

  3. And he made those bold statements in the face of such an energetic idiot, and with such aplomb and good humor.

  4. In the UK, Piers Corbyn is seen as a bit of a nutcase - it's certainly how the media like to portray him. His demonstrations have caused him to be arrested on a number of occasions, often with TV cameras in attendance.

This is the first time I've seen an actual interview with him, and he came across very well, although it probably helps that I agree with what he said!

    1. Of course they want to make him look like an idiot because he's on the wrong side of the "narrative". Fact is, he's right. Climate changes, and in the short term it's called "Weather". Doesn't mean we caused it.

  5. Love how the real scientist in this vid just takes the "presenter" apart while the "presenter" flails around fruitlessly bleating the narrative.

According to some articles I've read, during the medieval warm period, c. 950 to c. 1250, temps were higher than they are today, even with this perturbation we've had all over the Northern Hemisphere this year.

However, if one believes the glowbull warming narrative, it was all of the wood and brown coal that a global population, estimated at 500 million at the time, caused that warming back then.

Then the little Ice Age happened while the global population estimate continued to increase.

    It's the sun you jackass.

    1. Yes, during the Medieval Warming Period, temperatures were, from what I hear, up to 10 degrees in some places higher than this summer. Greenland was actually green, with glaciers only deep inland and on the northern coast. The last settlement was lost when the supply boat couldn't make it because of, you know, ice, somewhere around 1340-1350. Nobody knows when the Norse Greenlanders actually died off, because nobody could get near the damned place until the 1700s.

And there's credible evidence that some Norse made it over Canada into the Northern Pacific via the Northwest Passage. That would be sailing all along the northern coast of now-Canada and Alaska when it wasn't covered in ice.

The Black Death was so bad because it was so friggin cold in 1340s-1360s and it never really recovered just in time to get hit by another freeze in the mid 1600's, caused by the Sun and by Icelandic volcanoes.

The same Icelandic volcanoes that caused Europe in the 1780s to get so damned cold and ruined agriculture and led to the French Revolution.

But we caused all of it.

Just read a news report somewhere that scientists have discovered that about a million years ago Greenland was covered in thick forests over all of it. But we caused global warming.

Don't get me started on CO2, the magical plant fuel as any good indoor grower knows...

  6. They predicted a horrid hurricane season this year. All due to global warming. Where are they? Aint none that have hit eastern or southern America that I know of. I think California may have gotten a storm last week but don't think it was a hurricane. So must be global warming eh?

  7. I was a Satcom tech in the USAF. The hardest concept to learn was solar flares and the solar winds could drop my commo shot no matter how much forward power I was pumping out. The correlation between Solar Flairs and weather became obvious.

  8. Gravy
    But that’s how it goes
Millions of of people earning that dough

    Maybe
    It’s not too late
    To learn how to cook
    And forget how to take

I’m going out on a gravy train

Who knew Ozzy’s music could apply to climate crazy

  9. Solar activity - nothing else.
A bunch of democrat Politicians need to travel to the Sun some night and see what's going on-like they did with UKR.
