New COVID-19 boosters that target today's most common omicron strains are set to begin soon after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention endorsed the updated shots Thursday.
The decision by CDC Director Rochelle Walensky came shortly after the agency's advisers said if enough people roll up their sleeves, the shots could blunt a winter surge.
I no longer feel sorry for the weak minded fools that will get this shot. At this point, they will have earned any adverse event that may occur. Is it true that the new shots haven't been tested on humans?
Yes. It was only tested on 8 mice. 8. 2 mice had 24x as many antibodies as 1 of the other mice. Which is the right amount? Is one too low or is the other dangerously high? We'll never know, because the mice were euthanized to get their blood to analyze, so there are no mice to study for long term effects.
But you should line up to get the jab now. Actual human trials won't start for several months. But don't let that slow you down. Get. Boosted. Now!!!
