Your Tuesday Morning Florida Report

TAMPA, Fla. (WZTV) — The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) report that a crash involving several tractor trailers has closed the Interstate 75 Southbound on Wednesday morning.

I saw this happen on Hwy 99 between Fresno and Bakersfield back in 1976 when we were traveling from California to Georgia. The traffic jam was epic between the foam on the road and people jumping out of their cars to load up on free beer.

    1. That was my first thought. People should have been out there shoving that crap in the ditch where it belongs. Talk about a toxic spill.

  2. O.K., it's a light, watery beer, but when you want a chaser for a shot of whiskey, light and watery is not going to overpower the liquor. If on the other hand, you just want a beer, a nice IPA or German is good.

    Let the flaming commence.

  3. When I was stationed in the Philippines ‘69-70 all I heard from guys who lived out west was how they missed their Coors. I’m from Detroit, never heard of it. So when I was driving cross country to my next duty station I got some in Wyoming, needless to say, it didnt impress me.
