ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - As Florida tries to recover from devastating flooding and damage after Hurricane Ian, Governor Ron DeSantis is issuing a warning to those looking to take advantage of the situation by looting homes.
April 15, 1968: Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley publicly criticizes Superintendent of Police James Conlisk’s cautious handling of the riots that followed King’s assassination. He said he was giving the police specific instructions “to shoot to kill any arsonist and to shoot to maim or cripple anyone looting.”
According to democrats it is only blacks that loot.
