"Lo siento, señorita"

A groom was gunned down moments after his wedding in an apparent case of mistaken identity.

Marco Antonio Rosales Contreras, 32, was leaving his wedding ceremony in Caborca, Mexico on Saturday when he was shot, El Universal reported.

  1. I'm familiar with the term "Shotgun Wedding", but I'm not so sure this one qualifies. On the bright side however at least he didn't have to suffer 30 or 40 years of being caged with a harpy.

  2. Well, I support the shooting so the case of missing identy to me implies she married the wrong guy.

  3. The article said another groom at a wedding in a different city was shot also... All the terminator knew was that he was married that day..

  4. Or the bride's family really, really, didn't like him.

  5. "The Bride Wore Black" novel by Cornell Woolrich. A novel which spawned a French Movie and "The Bride Wore Black". Basically, the groom is killed right after the wedding and the bride takes revenge. I guess this new bride hasn't hit the news yet.

  6. Let me say this again. "It spawned a French Movie and "Kill BIll". It was to early and I guess the other computer didn't recognize me.

  7. Minor nit pick but, I do believe a married woman is a señora and technically she was married.
