While it did not by itself start a “national conversation” amidst the flurry of last-minute electioneering, a series of political advertisements appeared in late October that may be the most consequential ads of the 2022 election cycle.
The most prominent ad, playing on some Georgia radio and TV stations during a hotly contested Senate race, puts forth a simple question:
For at least the last two years, TV ads and TV shows have few to none white men. This is especially evident in advertising. White women often constitute a minority of characters, while at times ads have no white characters. And, white characters often are mistake-prone, stumbling buffoons. We white guys might as well change our names to Buckwheat or Steppin Fetchit.
blacks are the only group that can have black only anything and still turn around and call everyone else racist. god knows how many jobs I couldn't get because I was the wrong color. you know the good old days of the 1970's, 80's and 90's. thank god I am retired now. and I don't have to put up with that shit anymore. any state or federal job ? whites go to the back of the line. and people wonder why young white males are angry ??? this country is just asking for trouble and it may get it too.
Yes. I had read this article yesterday. The ad was posted by America First Legal. It seems that litigation is the only way to stop racism against White people.
