I don't remember who the vendor was, but there was an ad in The Shotgun News in those days for a short time advertising the P-1's as in Good to Very Good condition for $199.00 plus S&H. I ordered one and still have it.
I closed a checking account at a bank. Two outstanding checks so I left a balance to cover those plus a month service fee plus a small margin
The deducted the service fee then a hidden closing account fee of just enough to not cover one of the checks. One check cleared. But they ran the other check FIFTEEN times @ $35 a pop. I haven't had any bank accounts since.

Back in the day you could deposit some money, forget about it for some time and when you went back you had a nice little balance. Now they eat it all up with one fee or another.
There's a reason that in the Old Testament, God told the Israelites to kill every man, woman, child, and domesticated animals. Saves a lot of headaches for the grandkids down the road.
The left tells those of us in the South that had ancestors that fought to defend the homeland (not slavery - my kin were too poor for that shit) that we lost so get over it and let us destroy your history, yet want to restore injun names to real estate and remove "offensive" names and phrases to appease the proud red man. Whoopps! can't call them that! My maternal grandfather was born on the Osage reservation to an Osage father and a white mother. His father was a drunk and deserted the family. Grandpa was adopted and raised by a white family. He was proud of his heritage but never complained about place names etc. Oh, he was part American Indian, not part indigenous person. #4 About 10 years ago I was driving from Georgia to California and I was 9 hours into Texas and hungry. The only food on the exit was a McDonalds. I go in to use the bathroom and order a Quarter pounder combo with a coke tp go. I get back on the road and I had 2 McRib sandwiches. One bite was all it took. Nope, that shit is disgusting. Thirty miles later I threw that crap out and got a burger at Wendy's.
