  1. Brief illness.

Is it me, or does everyone immediately think "vaccine" when hearing these words about a death?

    1. Not just you.
Nowadays, I'm suspicious of every death I read about:
      "Did they, Or didn't they?"
      Evil times we live in.
And yet, some people are still going in for these shots,
the (mRNA) flu shots, pneumonia, etc.
Madness, like sheep to the slaughter.

  6. Starker here, when I read Brief Illness I think sudden onset death syndrome. Just saying. Same with unknown, died in sleep, natural causes, car accident after medical event. It seems that unknown, brief illness & cancers are tied for number one cause of death.

  7. Everyone remembers her in Laverne and Shirley, but how many of you remember her in The First Nudie Musical?

  9. The strange obits that I love are the ones that I see that read, " Jane Doe died unexpectedly at age 89". To me, anything after about 75-80 and you sort of have to expect that your time could come any day. And like a good friend of mine told me when I was a kid and he was about 80, he woke up every morning, said thank you God, for letting me live to see another day, and then asked himself, "now what am I going to do with this day that the Lord has given me"?
A man could sure do a lot worse than to live his life like that, no matter what his age.

    1. Yeah, once you get that old you shouldn't be making any long range plans.

    2. I think they are starting to use "Died Suddenly" with extreme elderly for the simple reason that it dilutes the pool of younger people who did die suddenly that no one is interested in following up on.

    3. Reminds me of George Burns. Asked how he felt on his 95th birthday, "Surprised" he answered.

  11. She was a looker back-in-the-day and I always thought she deserved more stardom than she got.
