The shooter collected the stolen money from the robber and returned it to the other patrons, police said.

  1. Colion Noir commented about this. Who in their mind would try a robbery like this in Texas?

    1. They know who he is and he hasn't been charged.

    2. Today they announced he's going to a grand jury. One, Harris County has a Soros DA, and two, that last shot in the head after he took the "gun" out of DRT's hand will at the very least get him true billed, and three, DRT is a dindu. I'm just glad he was smart enough to lawyer up.

    4. A Soros cunt DA named Kim Ogg is pushing for a Grand Jury.
I'd sit on that, just to vote "NOT GUILTY".

  5. I got jumped on for saying this elsewhere, but I'd be a little worried about the "Good Guy". Five shots after the guy was down on the floor and gun seemed to be out of the his hand.
Cops get to empty their guns into perfs, but citizens are responsible for every round out of their gun. I have no trouble with shooting the criminal in the back while he wasn't looking, but that last shot after the short delay was unnecessary.
And at point blank range some of those rounds went through and could have ricocheted into another customer.

    1. Garrett believes the customer was acting in self defense and had every right to keep firing until the threat was neutralized.

"The important thing to remember is once somebody has the legal right to act in self-defense and use lethal force in self-defense, then they have the right, whether it's shooting him once or shooting him nine times. As long as you're acting in self defense and it’s not now becoming some attenuated intentional act of actually killing somebody, he’s acting under the right to defend himself or others," Garrett said.

    2. He should not have emptied his gun. Save a few rounds in case the perp had an accomplice outside.

    3. "some of those rounds went through and could have ricocheted into another customer." If you notice a customers location in relation to his first shot it is clear he had no concern for anyone elses safety.

  6. "He had a plastic pistol possibly an aero soft or possibly a little BB pistol." Even though it is texas, it is Houston. The city DA is having a wet dream over charging this guy for murder. Key words are "plastic" and "little".

  7. The MSM is still in full propaganda mode pointing out the fact the robber was on his way out. They completely ignore robber's gun pointed in the direction of person in booth close to the door. Robber got what he deserved.

  8. Robbers choose their victims. Victims should choose the penalty. The courts sure as hell aren't protecting us from people like this.

  9. If he goes before a grand jury in Harris County, he will walk. If he is tried there, it will be jury nullification or hung jury at worst.

Many years ago, two Scottish guys were in a bar in Houston. When it was closing time, the chick they were macking called her boyfriend to take them home. To avoid drunk stops, he drove thru some upscale neighborhoods. The Scots got nervous, jumped out at a stop sign and approached a house for safety. One guy pounding at the front door and the other went over the fence and was pounding on the back door. The homeowner, at 3:00 am and scared for his family, shot thru the back door and killed the guy. The grand jury said, fine, good job, exactly what we would have done in the same situation.

A couple of years later, I was in northern England on a technology exchange and had dinner with the chief scientist of the company. He remarked about it being a tragedy. I responded: au contraire, mon cher. The guy got that got off was justified and any right thinking guy would have done the same. Cue a huge, acrimonious debate. I was later asked to leave the team. While the reason was not directly this discussion, my heartfelt opinion is that this discussion started the chain of events that led to my departure.

In the end, my sudden dismissal was fortuitous. It started the long (15 year) sequence of events that led to me moving to TN and having the absolutely best outcome for me. Sorry if TL;DR, but woo hoo. The Lord sure works in mysterious ways.

  10. A police detective told me that when he was on patrol in his early years with the Memphis police he and his partner were dispatched to an armed robbery in progress. When they entered the location, a liquor store, the perp turned on them pointing a weapon. He fired his 12ga. at the perp midsection and nearly blew the guy in half. Said the guy still tried to raise his weapon to fire. He sent another round into the perp's face. He said it was a horrible learning experience. Even when severely wounded an armed person is still deadly till dead.

  12. Robber phucked around and found out. Never take an Airsoft "gun" to a gun fight.

  13. Question is, why did he think that other peoples money was worth dying for? Does not matter a whit if the gun was real or fake. He presented it as real and that is what matters.

  14. Fake gun irrelevant. The 9th, coup de grace to the head is problematic, especially after shots 5-8

Not trying to argue, just saying I discussed this exact scenario 3 dsys sgo in CCW class

    2. I simply don't agree with leftist lawyer proclamations that shots which were intentionally made to kill become excessive as some arbitrary point. Was shot 5 necessary? I don't know. The civilian here was focused on one thing only: stop a clear threat. I think if he had pulled the pants down on the dead dude after shooting him and spanked him, that would have been in bad taste. But dumping a magazine into the guy seemed like the responsible thing to do. The criminal here received justice. If he thought 7 or 8 shots was too much for him to absorb, he should have gotten a job, rather than undertaking armed robbery. It was a choice, and he made a bad one.

    3. I don't think it was the mag dump that's going to hang over his head, it was after the guy was down and the shooter checked him out, then popped him in the head with a final round. That's going to be frowned upon.

  17. I watched the vid at another site that showed all the shots. Between shots 8 and 9 there was a ding dong chime on the sound track. My immediate thought was that's the announcement of the perp's arrival in hell.

This took place in Houston, a know Demonrat hellhole. He'll be indicted by a far left liberal grand jury for murder one, even though the perp was already dead when he hit the floor. Personally, I think the shooter should get a medal. Recidivism rate is now zero for that perp.

  18. Here in Chicago, the shooter would have grabbed the munney and ran off with it, only to be carjacked on the way home.

  20. I don't give 2 winks for the law. Put me on that jury, and I'll go for jury nullification. Dead guy (DG) started the ball......what happens after that to him, I just don't care. If you're so concerned about the law AFTER the DG started the path....you're part of the problem (IMNSHO) and would likely justify your actions by quoting the law......
