State police terminate another officer for response to Uvalde mass shooting
AUSTIN, Texas - The Texas Department of Public Safety has decided to terminate a Texas Ranger who responded to the horrific May 24 attack at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde.
I'm surprised a Texas Ranger didn't enter the school. They've always been known as the cream of the crop of law enforcement in the state. I'm also surprised it took this long to terminate his employment.
Ummmm, just where in ANY SCOTUS ruling has the police been held to the standard of "protecting"??? Point to one....... There aint one. You (and society) been suckered into the "serve and protect" bullshiite..... which was a SLOGAN that came out of LAPD (IIRC) academy in the 1950's...... you're part of the problem..... I am the one tasked with protecting my family.... and yes, I taught my daughter how to look for when trouble approaching and how to handle.... I am the one that badgered her school enough in the early 2000's to take the active shooter threat seriously and they did active shooter drills quarterly, the first one was a CF (better then than for real, the reason for training in the first place). I have ZERO qualms with neutralizing ANY threat that prevents me from protecting my family.
There is a time for prayer and a time for action..... we prayed before each direct-action....... learn the lesson - at some point in time, ya gotta get off your damn knees.....

ReplyDeleteThey all need to be terminated - with extreme prejudice.
ReplyDeleteFucking cowards.
That is jacked up they need to be told when and how to stop a shooting. It is your damn job to go in and protect the innocent.
