Lover's Lullaby is one of the most simple yet heartfelt love songs I've ever heard. It struck me that way the first time I heard it back in the mid 90s until the last time I listened to it about a week ago.
It's a shame Townes couldn't fight his addiction demons, it really is.
He's one of those artists that I didn't like everything he did, but what I did like, I really really liked.
