  1. Wow. This doesn't bode well for the actual SHOOTER. I suggest he wears a wrist guard when he gets slapped.

    1. Their law will be satisfied if anyone goes to prison. He isnt guilty but being blamed. Not the actual murderer , just someone and or anyone else to pursue other than the guilty. The Just-Us they want does not include the civil and or moral humans of this world. It is not related to justice .

    2. not my take.
It takes an idiot to put live rounds in the vicinity of a hollywood gun. It killed a girl and yeah those responsible for that idiocy need to spend some time thinking about how fucking stupid they were to do that thing.

  2. When they get around to sentencing Baldwin, he needs to be put in a cell with the gun that he use to kill Halyna in a separate secure enclosure. One round in the chamber, and he can stay there until the gun goes off by itself. He should be eager to prove that he didn't squeeze the trigger and that the gun alone was the culprit.

  3. We all know Baldwin is going to skate, don't we.

  4. 6 months unsupervised probation? What are the "probation no-no rules"? No jerking off after 2 PM?

  5. They will fry the Armorer (and they should). But she is a nobody without connections. Baldwin will skate. The demonstrated incompetence of the prosecutor assures that outcome. And Baldwin is a leftist celebrity who has connections and deep pockets. That makes him immune to legal penalties to which the rest of us might be subjected.

We have the best justice system that money can buy.

    1. The armorer was not there! To avoid paying her for a full day (using COVID as an excuse), the producers (including Baldwin) had her prepare the guns for the day and leave them in an unlocked cabinet early in the morning. So, was the gun the assistant producer handed to Baldwin the right one? Or had someone taken it out for some plinking with live ammo between the time she prepped it and the time Baldwin got it? You can't prove whether or not either of these happened.

What you can prove is that Baldwin as a producer and actor tolerated unsafe practices on the set, and knew they were unsafe because there had been negligent discharges before this. Instead of correcting the problems, he rehearsed a scene where he pointed the gun straight at a camera, with someone behind the camera instead of off to the side. (Or else he was playing with the gun, because I have not heard that the script called for a down the barrel shot.)

  6. This entire affair fails to remember that this is a tragedy for the young woman who died. And while I don't think that anyone involved should be hung by the neck until dead, there should be some sort of punishment given to ensure that a very loud alarm is sent out to Hollywood that makes it very clear that things have changed and the old rules that they have gotten complacent with are no longer good enough.
We all know that while Baldwin was not the first link in the chain of custody that let this happen, he was the final link and so he was also guilty of manslaughter. But once again, we must remember that it is not did he do it, but can the prosecution PROVE that he did it. We all deserve a free and fair trial, no matter if we are the lowest of the low or the highest of the high. Myself, I think that both the armorer and Baldwin deserve the same punishment, for they both did basically the same thing. She didn't pull the trigger but she might just as well have done so, and he didn't load the gun , but he might just as well have done so.
Of course, in the real world that we live in, Baldwin will walk, and she will spend time in jail.

  7. Everyone here pretty much nailed it. I like Pigpen51's answer, and Bogsidebunny's comment.

One thing that I don't see much about is that while we all know a live round got into the revolver, there hasn't been a lot of speculation on just who put it there. The armorer, sure, but what if someone switched out the blank ammo for the real deal? And that someone is not on trial for murder one?

This is only idle speculation on my part, but there it is.

  8. Money and fame talk....loudly. And being a good loyal HollyWeed commie Baldwin will not serve any time and likely get off with a fine. There is no justice to be had in America from the legal system. Anyone wanting actual justice must go out and acquire it for themselves...
    extrajudicially.
