In the 60s my brothers-in-law were towing a trailer with a 6x12 neon sign on it. As they pulled into a toll booth, they looked over to see the trailer shoot through the next lane and neatly park a couple of hundred yards ahead. Not a single piece of glass was broken.
What's with #8? Did the guy with the flatbed not realize he was dragging his improperly secured load (which fell off the flatbed) behind him or was he doing a 'quick and dirty' removal of a vehicle after an accident that was blocking traffic?
#2 Where the load is in relation to the axles is important. #3 It looks like the bumpers are locked together but why is there no driver in the blue truck? #8 Let a 'professional' recover your crashed vehicle. Al_in_Ottawa
I suspect the "driver" of the vehicle being towed is the gentleman climbing into the front truck carrying(what looks like) a crowbar in his hand. Front truck probably stopped suddenly and the rear truck hooked its bumper on the trailer hitch on the front truck
The super computer that would have enough memory to hold all the Gifs and videos displaying the stupidity of humans hasn't been built yet and probably never will be.
#4 Damn, I hate to see stupid parents hurt or endanger children. Wish we could see 20 seconds more to see the baby rescued. What an idiot. Richard in Colorado
Idiots for parents and those damn things should be outlawed as they are completely useless and give a false sense of security. Life guarded in my younger days at a very large water park and we would not allow them for this very reason. Idiots for parents.
There is a website called NotAlwaysRight.com that features stories, mainly from people who work in retail and service industries, about their interactions with stupid and obnoxious customers. The sheer abundance of stupid out there is really quite worrying.
#1 the oldest eleven yr old #2 at least he hung on #3 a new kind of road rage. That guy walking towards the cab has a metal bar #9. I'd get in front of it to bring it to a stop. Hitch up a free gas driven mixer.
#2 -- Yep, that's why you teach farm kids to back tractors up steep slopes. Seen neighbors who didn't live to regret neglecting to do that. He's damn lucky it didn't go all the way over.
I'd sure like to see a few more frames of #3.
ReplyDeleteOr #9! I wonder how long it took the driver to notice :)

It appears that the blue truck driver is advancing, to "have a word" with the white truck driver. Is that a tire iron in his hand?

DeleteWatched a compressor come undone from a pickup working in New Orleans. Rolled right past me into several parked cars.
