Rewarding bad behavior

NEW YORK - New York City has agreed to pay more than $13 million to settle a civil rights lawsuit brought on behalf of roughly 1,300 people who were arrested or beaten by police during racial injustice demonstrations that swept through the city during the summer of 2020.

  1. Sort of like SF awarding bad behavior shoplifting and street shitting, except SF hasn't quite gotten to the point of paying the criminals aftet the steal or shit. Hold your breath, I bet they're working on it however.

  2. gee, it almost seems like they want people in the street. funny that. like what are they planning to do when it goes really wild ? maybe declare martial law ?
    but one does have to realize they are doing a lot to piss off the normal people that obey the law and pay taxes. maybe they want the so called normal people in the streets ?
