UPS, Teamsters reach labor deal to avoid strike

UPS and the Teamsters union representing about 340,000 workers at the package carrier on Tuesday said they reached a preliminary labor deal that includes raises for both full- and part-time workers and narrowly avoids a potential strike that could have started next week.

  2. Yep, gonna get their A/C alright. The government is managing the retrofit, starting in Alaska. About 3-4 years from now and two billion over budget, they should be able to start retrofitting UPS trucks in Alabama about the fall of '26, maybe '27.
