Reem’s California announced the policy in an Instagram post on Friday, saying the reason is to have a “deep commitment to uplifting social and racial justice in our communities.”

I don't know why the police union is sniveling about it. If they don't want cops to go in, don't go in. For anything. Forever. Fuck 'em. Let 'em get robbed 10 or 12 times.
Besides, given the Instagram post above, there's no way I'd eat there if I was a cop. I'd be afraid fuckers would be spitting in my food.
GET WOKE, GET ROBBED, GET IGNORED.
ReplyDeleteNot just for 911 calls! Announce this restaurant as a "Purge" location. That the police will not even investigate crimes that happen inside.
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't hurt to put a sign up to that effect.
Who they gonna call when some "civilian" shows up packing heat?
ReplyDeleteI actually have more respect for them than I do the businesses that ban carry for anyone except cops. Why should cops who are not there on official business have more rights than anyone else?
ReplyDeleteOnly criminals are permitted to carry in San Fran. They ought to know that.
ReplyDeleteI'd be afraid fuckers would be spitting in my food.
I always wondered about the legendary cop affinity for doughnuts. Kinda hard to taint the order when they are pulling the items from trays right in front of you.
Starker here,
ReplyDeleteI don't think they are sniveling. They said the restaurants should post a sign, so cops on or off duty wouldn't spend money there. It even said that the police designed a sign for them to use.
There is a Bar in London OH that has the same rule, posted on their door, and all the officers know it (London is the HQ for the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy). The officer's reaction has always been- thank you for letting us know in advance.
ReplyDeleteThese people are as deficient in self awareness as they are in common sense. I could (almost) give them a pass on their stupidity if they were snowflakes living in some lefty suburb with low crime. I guess they haven't noticed the great sucking sound of the retailers and other businesses leaving the city due to the crime. I respect their commitment to consistency of philosophy about removing ALL guns, but I strongly suspect that this weapons grade level of stupid will result in some pain sooner rather than later.
ReplyDeleteThey're still willingly living and operating a business in San Fransisco. How smart can they be?
