  2. #1: I'm wondering why there were no sets of angled bars sticking out the edge of that useless rack, so he would have had a place to drop the bar.

#7: "I'll impress these ladies with my insane twirling skills"

    #10: That looked painful.

  3. #5 it looks like someone threw the penalty flag on that critter, for unnecessary roughness. As for 2,7, and 9, those make one wonder where those people have their heads when they make their poor choices.
I can hazard a guess, and it includes them not being able to hear very well afterwards, due to the smelly brown substance in both ears, following pulling their head out of their ass. You often set yourself up for stupid consequences, by the stupid choices beforehand.

    1. A camera boom, I think.

    2. It looks like a camera car for filming movies, etc.
It pretty much is a light duty crane on a car. And that was an expensive mistake, that camera is pretty expensive.

    3. probably a very expensive camera!

    4. I was assuming a camera boom.

    5. Camera mount of some sort.

    6. It's a boom mounted camera that was improperly stowed for transport. Likely one that cost at least $20K for just the camera. The boom and mounting hardware is likely another $50K. Not counting the SUV itself, of course.

    7. Looks like a camera mounted on the end on a boom.

    8. That looked very much like a a WESCAM jib arm and some type of 2/3-inch pro video camera based on the lens. Camera and lens was probably about $140,000 and the gyroscopic control mount on the end of the jib arm was likely $300,000 or so. So just shy of half a million bucks.

    9. I think they were on their way out to camera the underside of that bridge. A lot of that is done by drone now, probably because of a lot of incidents like this.

  5. #6 - We had a German Shepherd when we moved into a house with a sliding glass door. The poor thing saw the back yard and ran full tilt into the door before we could stop him. To his credit, he only did it once.

    1. My St. Bernard did something similar, but the door eas open, but the screen was in place. There was a >SPUNG< and a PRESTO! we had a St. Bernard silhouette in the screen, and a very happy pup frolicking in the back yard.

    2. Growing up, we had a double pane sliding glass door, that was actually two doors. You opened one, and then the other, then you stepped through and closed them one at a time behind you. It got to be an ingrained habit after awhile.

I remember watching my cousin Dave chase my little brother. He must have been about twelve at the time. My little brother ran up, stopped, throw both doors open, and closed them both behind him to slow Dave down. Dave didn't stop, plowed right into that door and bounced off. He was fine, and so was the door. So he sprang right back up, flung the first door open, and enthusiastically bounced off the second one.

He them proceeded to fling the second door open, and if there'd been a third, he'd have bounce off that one too!

'Course, Dave's been dead about ten years now. Brain cancer got him. Or rather, a bad biopsy paralyzed his right half completely.

  7. My friends and I had hours of amusement watching a buddy try and learn to pole vault. We would cheer him on only to watch him crash and burn in new and amazing ways.
