  1. The plandemic is what started me working from home. It was like getting a pretty big raise. Between not driving 2 hours a day and eating out of my own kitchen I've saved thousands. I don't have to worry about maintianing a "busness casual' wardrobe either. I sleep during the time I used to spend getting ready and driving and my health has greatly improved. However, the real benefit has been that working on-line keeps all conversations to stricktly business and has cut out the verbal abuse, backstabbing and gossip.

    1. my income went from 500.00 a week working my ass off digging ditches in one hundred degree heat to 800.00 a week sitting at home for a year and a half, fishing, hunting and drinking beer.
why would I bitch. went back to work right after the free money dried up. ditch diggers are in high demand. if you don't believe it, try to hire one. AKA a plumber.

    2. BTW, they're not idiots. Just completely unethical liars and cheaters, in a never-ending craven pursuit of raw political power.

  11. Big pharma households increased their net worth, but my IRA/401K accounts took a Brandon-sized shit and are still in the crapper. The federal reserve can lick ball sweat.

  17. It's probably true in nominal dollars. Housing prices skyrocketed. Used cars are "worth" more than new cars were not that many years ago. Inflation ultimately makes everyone millionaires, just like it did in Weimar Germany and Zimbabwe.

When I was a kid, my folks bought a Jeep Wagoneer because it was the only thing they could afford that would hold the whole family and still make it out the driveway in the winter. Have you priced them out lately?
