HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - One animal is receiving care after being seized by Harris County officials in a case of animal abuse, officials said.
On Tuesday, an animal cruelty investigator with Harris County Precinct 1 Constable Alan Rosen's Office and the Houston SPCA went out to an abandoned dog call located at 12303 Gulf Freeway in Harris County.
Assholes, if you can't or won't take care of your pets don't get one or find someone who will.

just shoot the assholes ! no dog should be treated like that. dave in pa.
ReplyDeleteI had a couple of young ladies as neighbors who knew of a dog abandoned in the basement of an unheated. empty house in Michigan in the winter. They fed it for a while hoping the owner would come back. Finally they broke in and took the dog. The dog was ok with the girls but was hysterically frightened of men. When the poor thing saw me through the back fence it would go nuts so they would either take the dog in or I'd go work in my front yard.
ReplyDeleteOne of our rescues was left chained to a tree & left for dead - the owner moved out of state. Felony animal abuse charges await should he return to NC
ReplyDeleteBear was 32lbs when seized (they should me the pictures of his living conditions - I'd personally remove the former owner from the gene pool thank you) He is 62lbs now. He went through Cavel Syndrome, 2am trip to NC State Vet hospital for worm pull & abt $10k later, everyone is doing fine. He's a sweetheart & worth 1000x that
