  1. Well of Course it's a bad idea. Just as permitless concealed carry was going to lead to death and destruction, and was a bad idea. Everywhere the laws that were passed to Keep people Safe by restricting their ability to protect themselves has shown Exactly the same thing. Decreased security and safety for everyone. But the people who Want that are unteachable. They holler Follow the Science and IGNORE THE OBVIOUS.
    Yeah,, crap.

  2. I hear a lot of negetive stuff about Fl. I never thought I'd live here. So glad I do. If you take concealed classes there is no wait period on buying a gun. Walk in, buy a gun, show your card and walk out with your purchase. My wife carries all the time. If you watch the Gainesville news people are shot or stabbed there about every week. Almost all that are caught are already convicted felons. And yes in the last two years it has only been them Yogi. Gainesville University of Fl students are big BLM, queer and woke supporters. Dumb bunch of liberals.

    1. Trust me, in Gainesville, it's mostly always been them, Yogi. Anything east of West 13th Street and except for specific neighborhoods where the elite live (the Duckpond area being the big one) it's a free fire zone. Drugs, murder, drug murders, murder for and about and over drugs...

The closest indoor range is down in Micanopy, though we do have a gun-club range on the north side of town.

And the coply people are fully woke and stupid. Seen a man beating a woman, pure domestic violence, cop shows up and nothing is done except separating them for 10 minutes. Because you can't arrest the diversity...

  5. At least they did something constructive, unlike Illinois and Gov Prickster

Illinois General Assembly - Bill Status for SB1883. Amends the Criminal Code of 2012. Provides that, notwithstanding any other provision of law, it is unlawful for any person to allow any member of the public to come into direct contact with a bear or nonhuman primate.

  7. The main deal on the open carry bit is because of cops murdering folks coming out of stores after some Karen reports MAN WITH A GUN when they reach up to get stuff off the top shelf - they “say” concealed means concealed & when it’s not is good enough reason to do to you whatever they d-blank feel like.
