But the very contemplation of the hard medicine needed for restoration—and the furious reaction that would meet the remedy—made it impossible to save the patient.
America is nearing such an impasse.
The romans of today are democratic in nature. THe same ideas used then are undoing our first world societies every day. They intend to rule the ash in the future.

ReplyDeleteRemember that the Dark Ages began right after the fall of Rome. Records were not kept about a lot of that history, therefore the designation. If nuclear wars fry our electronics through widespread EMPs, we will not be able to record much history either.

ReplyDeleteThe medicine is to embrace nationalism and Christianity. Want 20 million to export themselves? No welfare, no treatment at hospitals, send to prison anyone who gives them food, shelter or medical support. I know this doesn't sound like Christian love and compassion, and I'm no theologian, but the Bible says everyman must work for his bread. The good Samaritan didn't put his family at risk while helping a stranger. We have our own house to clean. We must start enforcing our laws and our leaders must return to accountability to the public. The last I fear will take some smiting of evil on an epic scale. We must also realize our obligations to help our fellow citizens and kick the government out of the process. And I don't think we as a country have the will to do this.

ReplyDeleteThe day will come, shortly, when we have to borrow the entire payment for the interest on the national debt and that number will equal the entire current federal budget of 3 Trillion or so $.
ReplyDeleteWe currently owe 33 Trillion $ that can not and will not ever be repaid. Then there's the "unfunded liabilities" of something like 10 times or more the size of the current $33T debt, for things like Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid and federal, state and local pensions for the bureaucrat bloodsuckers that have been bleeding us dry since 1913.
I read somewhere recently that it will happen this decade, maybe as soon as 2027. Once that happens and we default on the interest and bond payments, we're toast. We'll be Wiemar Republic 2.0 with nukes.
Then there's 4-5 divisions worth of "fighting age" Middle Eastern and Chinese men that have crossed the border since Jan20, 2021. Those ME men are here for one purpose and it isn't to integrate into U.S. society and culture. it's take as many of us to grave as they can on their way to their 72 virgins.
The Chinese men are here to assist in the chaos and to pick up the pieces after the fall when China comes ashore to take over.
We're effed by the fickle finger of fate. We just haven't fallen down, yet.

I see it playing out one of three ways or a combination; The government and FED choose inflation over a dollar devaluation and lie about official statistics (what they are currently doing and absolutely choose); or they inform all the holders of government debt they are getting a haircut, but buyers would sense this far ahead and demand a higher rate or not buy at all; or the third option is they take our savings, wealth and assets via taxes, of course income means tested. Any and all options will be instituted with cuts to all entitlement programs, again means tested. Propagandistic regime media will hail these actions as "This will save us".
