While makeup trends have evolved over the last 4,000 years, a recent study apparently proves that the age-old saying is true: the beauty of a red lip is timeless.
Researchers have identified what is believed to be the world's oldest known lipstick, or lip paint - a small, ornate stone vial containing a deep red paste, which was discovered in southeastern Iran.
How ironic. The religion of peace started makeup. I guess they did not want to scare them too much when they popped the cover. Or did they not wear covers back then....Hmmm.
Sorry but the relegion of peace did not start anything. This is attributed to a much more civilized society and people than the ragtag goat lovers of today.
I say a lot, " Did you see the Orangatang in heat?" Orangatangs, when in heat, rub their lips until they are ruber red to attact males. When I see a human plastered with lipstick I think of Orangatangs.
One of the things that attracted me to my wife was how beautiful she was(and still is) without wearing makeup. That was nearly a half century ago, and I still think that she is better looking than the AN-BSY2 sub array that I worked on in the early 1990s...LoL!
