So much for that Employee of the Month award

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — A woman who was said to be the victim of an armed robbery while working at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts last Veterans Day is now alleged to be the one who planned it, according to new documents.

Allegedly when she was asked why she did this, she replied that she needed money to pay for a trip to New York and to purchase an Apple Macbook laptop.

  1. "She needed money ($13,300) to pay for a trip to New York and to purchase an Apple Macbook laptop". A worthy cause indeed, but with inflation as it is today she was only able to afford a one day ticket to Disney land.

  4. I knew some people (only who they are. We weren't friends by any means) who attempted the same thing at a Little Caesar's Pizza where I went to school. (I worked at a different Ceasar's) They just pocketed the day's receipts and said 'two black guys' came in and robbed them at gunpoint. But they were even more idiotic than these people and when the police began questioning them their story quickly broke down and they were arrested for grand larceny.
