  4. SPORTS..... Slap, the magazine, Pull the charging handle back, Observe for stoppages in the chamber, Return the bolt to forward, Tap the forward assist, Shoot.. I've never forgoten that even 40 years later. Was surprised to learn the Marines used the same acronym.

    1. SPORTS. Yup, it's still ingrained in the membrane. As I teach the Mrs to shoot, I also taught her that one.
