DOJ sues another state to stop prison sentences for immigrants living in US illegally

Adding to a spate of challenges to state immigration laws by the U.S. Justice Department, federal prosecutors have now sued the state of Oklahoma and its governor Kevin Stitt in a bid to block a law there that makes it a crime punishable by up to two years in prison to live in Oklahoma without legal immigration status.

  1. And soon in Illinois if the illegal aliens are for some reason are kept in jail they'll experience a great Democrat benefit of being addressed as: "Justice Impacted Individual".

    House Bill 4409 would add Illinois Department of Corrections representation to the Adult Redeploy Illinois oversight board, but it also changes the word "offender" to "justice-impacted individuals." Republicans on the Senate floor said the name change could cost taxpayers thousands of dollars.

  3. Oklahoma should sue the DOJ for dereliction of duty in their failure to protect the people of Oklahoma.
