The 6-3 decision, which came in a fight over a fishing-industry regulation, is a long-sought triumph for opponents of big government. The court overturned Chevron v. Natural Resources Defense Council, a 1984 ruling that Democratic administrations had used as a legal building block for new regulations.

This decision is huge for the 2A community. It just put a leash on the ATF and their bullshit rules.
I saw this earlier and was thinking the same thing. Hopefully the SCOTUS will continue to slap down those liberal judges and bureaucrats who keep trying to ignore the Bruen decision.
ReplyDeleteYou got that right, Cutter! About time these dumb-shit rules and regs get thrown in the trash!
ReplyDeleteGreat decision!

Now, a couple more that they should get rid of are Griggs vs Duke Power (disparate impact), Wickard v Filbourne (Commerce Clause applied to non Interstate commerce).

Ricci vs DeStefano partly over turned Griggs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ricci_v._DeStefano) but the Wickard case still needs to go.

Don't forget the EPA. Maybe we can get real showers and gas cans again
ReplyDeleteIt's a big win for all of us. Unelected bureaucrats just got their unquestionable authority kicked out from under them. I hope the rope is short and the fall is long.
ReplyDeleteThis mean I can have my gas stove back.
