Tennessee paper fights court order over leaked Covenant writings, citing Shield Law

The Tennessee Star is responding to The Chancery Court’s order to set a show cause hearing after the company published leaked writings from the Covenant shooter.

Chancellor L’Ashea Myles is asking the owner of The Tennessee Star, Michael Leahy, to show cause why the publication should not be subject “to contempt proceedings and sanctions.”

  1. Progressives demand obedience. If they're disobeyed they punish as severely as possible as an example to others pain will ensue if they do not obey. It's that simple.

    2. The Tennessee court never bothered reading the US Supreme Court’s decision on the Pentagon Papers which involved the Washington Post’s and the New York Times’ publication of classified documents concerning the Viet Nam War.
