"You want to act like a thug, I'll treat you like one"

A coach at Ypsilanti Middle School has been fired after he was seen on video attacking a student from behind.

The school district has decided to take action, and the student’s family has lawyered up, as the coach could be facing criminal charges.

  1. “Teacher attacks a student from behind”. Maybe, because the school is named after Demetrius Ypsilanti a Greek general, it has something to do with the "behind" maneuver.

  2. The Greeks would never leave a buddy(s) behind. Just like cowboys with their names stenciled on back of their belts...

  3. So, just out of the blue, the coach chokes out some random kid????

I'd like to hear 'the rest of the story', to quote Paul Harvey.

  4. In jr high there was an adult monitor in his mid-20s who smacked the male students around. He tore my brand new jacket.
His treatment of the girls was like he fancied himself Casanova. A real creepster.
The rest of the story is he was just a bully. He taught PE.

In high school there was an adult also in his mid-20s who smacked around the male students. Several times I saw him tackle a kid from behind. Also put a student in a headlock laughing as the kid yelped in pain. On the pool deck he tried to grab me by the hair. I jumped into the pool.

He was asst football coach. He especially hated swimmers of which I was one. He'd taunt male students no matter where on campus. He also thought the girls swooned over him. It was sick but funny to watch him make an ass of himself
The rest of the story is he was just a 'roided out thug.

  5. During high school I had an Industrial Arts teacher that went toe to toe with one of the guys in our class... Ronnie was big for his age and his dad owned a sheet metal business that Ronnie worked at after school and through the summer so he wasn't a slouch... Mr Lorio threw a punch then Ronnie layed him out.... Then the fun began because they wanted to expel Ronnie and his dad showed up at the school 😀😀😀..
