Should've just shot the bastard
A day care owner in New York City is going to spend two-and-a-half decades behind bars for sexually abusing one of the children in his care. The defendant, Silfredo Castillo Martinez, 34, also possessed about 9,800 images of child sexual abuse material, said the Department of Justice in the Southern District of New York. A judge sentenced him on Thursday to 25 years in prison.

Hopefully his fellow inmates hold to the old ways for dealing with pedophiles.

ReplyDeleteSadly that is too common an opinion and it should not be, we need good positive male figured in schools, daycares and other fields, but all it takes is one to fuck it up.
DeleteThis type of concern, while valid, is also the reason I never let my grand-kids have any of their little girlfriends over if I was the only one in the house - not that I am a pedo, but it is way too easy for accustations to be leveled. Once that happens, it cost dearly to defned yourself and you are never actually exonorated.
Back in the '90s when that 'suppressed memories' deal came out, I made up my mind that I would never be alone with a small child, even my nieces and nephews, for the same reason. But really, it was no big deal because I don't like kids anyway.

ReplyDeleteMy father, a WW2 vet, was all for bringing back public hangings for heinous crimes. This is about as heinous as it gets. Nothing is going to change until there are sweeping changes in our judiciary system.
