Probably India, though the fact they are using shovels makes that less likely. A lot of the work over there is to keep people working because if you are busy working you aren't causing problems.
#5 - Swift. Looks like an original. Foot launched 25:1 carbon fiber sailplane designed by a group out of guys out of Stanford. Aeriane is the current manufacturer. https://aeriane.com/medias/
Yeah, that’s not a sight I’d want to look back over the transom and see. That’s pretty damn scary considering those things are 25 feet long and weigh probably 8,000 lbs.
#3 In the Khumbu Icefall at Mt. Everest. You don't see the ropes that will save him if he loses balance or the ladders fail, but still. 250 skydives and I say no, hell no.
#1 Staged. I think the branch was cut before the stunt. #2 Union labor? Or not. I've actually had to do this due to a lack of space for the boom. #3 I'd never make it. #4 Looks like a sea horse, but I've never seen this before. #5 Way cool! Landing, though, might be a bit tricky - but the flight would be so worth it. #6 I'd like to see the practice sessions. #7 That nasty little chihuahua dog is getting rehomed to Springfield, Ohio. #8 Orcas, and they don't look like they are having a hard time keeping up. #9 Static electricity? I don't really know what's going on here. #10 Now that's a nice rack!
#10...Wish I could do that. 'Well, if you pet him, maybe he would let you".

Chihuahuas can have a nasty streak about them. Saw that one coming.
DeleteYou can't trust a Mexican dog anymore than you can trust a fart.

ReplyDeleteSometimes there's no room to operate the boom. Don't give up fellas, if you have no skills you can always be a laborer

ReplyDelete#8 That is why you buy a boat that can run 40 mph. Top speed for an Orca is just under 35mph.
ReplyDeleteThat branch looked like it was a clean cut made by a saw. Probably a staged video.
ReplyDeleteIf you look closely, the branch in #1 was precut at least half way through.
ReplyDelete#8 Oh so magnificent! Geez, would give anything to be there.
